OUR MISSION :

We want to guide underprivileged students for their career paths and give them an access to a wide variety of options which will enable them to have a holistic approach and develop themselves in the process.

THE PROBLEM:

We analysed 3 main problems in government schools:

The students have narrow perspectives about education and self development.
There is a complete lack of awareness concerning their career goals, and steps to be taken to achieve them.
Education is not holistic and primarily focuses on rote learning.

OUR ANALYSIS:

We observed that even after explaining over 20 career fields such as : Entrepreneur, Lawyer, Performing Artist, Diplomacy, etc; the students were still centred only around the most common career fields. ( refer to the pie chart )

OUR SOLUTION:

Create awareness about how to achieve their goals and educate them on what is required to turn their dream into reality.
Broaden their narrow mindset by introducing them to various fields and give them unorthodox ways to be successful.

Therefore, we devised an algorithm program which assists us in segregating data and tells us the field for the students. Our method is primarily based on our own algorithm, taking help of which, we counsel the students.The data entered in the input form is fed to the program which separates the students into two categories based on their marks. It then produces an output for each individual student stating which field is most suitable for them and how hard they need to work in order to be successful in it.

Here, the human element comes into play where our volunteers explain the output produced and counsel each student on one to one basis. We also guide them on how to improve in their lacking areas.
