The Problem :
Our Analysis :
In light of these serious concerns, it is the duty of the
privileged to step up and help out as many people as
we can.
For this very reason, we along with the Alpha Urbane Project and
Habitat for Humanity collaborated to provide relief
during this trying time.
Our Solution :
We helped fund for 'Family Essential Kits and Hygiene kits' which ensured individuals received food and other commodities where they are most needed. Hygiene kits are of the utmost importance as they actively work to contain the spread of the virus. These essential kits ensured a proper balanced diet for the individuals and consisted of flour, oil, lentils, salt, etc , as given by the flowchart below. During COVID times, the need for proper sanitation was of utmost importance and we provided those essentials by our family essential kits.
We conducted a fundraising campaign to help low-income families affected by Covid 19 pandemic by raising money to provide them with essential kits.
Our 44 fundraisers managed to collect over 10.5 lakh rupees.
Collectively, the campaign managed to help over 200 families and bring a smile to their faces.
They have provided family and hygiene kits in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Delhi.
The Result :
Our Smile More campaign managed to raise more than 10.5 lakh rupees and provide the aforementioned healthcare and sanitation kits to more than 200 families of migrant workers and many different individuals. 409 donors, brought by our 44 fundraisers definitely created a tremendous impact during the tough COVID times.
